The founder of the firm has been conducting large-scale defense litigation for his entire career of over twenty years. Mr. Barbknecht's practice focuses on terminating litigation in favor of his clients as quickly as possible. Mr. Barbknecht opposes "processing cases" and analogizes litigation to chess. He is known for his zealous and relentless legal attacks on his opponent's causes of action. Mr. Barbknecht's educational credentials include the completion of a B.S., M.PA and J.D. Mr. Barbknecht is licensed to practice in Texas, Tennessee, Washington D.C, in all Federal Courts in Texas as well as the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Barbknecht was instrumental in defending major automobile manufacturers when products liability cases threatened their very existence and has recently represented significant defendants in the Texas A&M University Bonfire litigation. In the past several years, Mr. Barbknecht has tried and won an extensive number of large scale cases in Dallas County as well as in counties throughout Texas. These large scale cases include the defense of major vehicular crashes and premises liability matters. Mr. Barbknecht has worked alongside accident reconstructionists and other specialists concerning tire blow outs, explosions, mechanical failures, and shootings in successfully defending these cases. Additionally, Mr. Barbknecht has extensive successful experience in auto liability, employment, and construction law as well as aquatics suits, premises liability, commercial and coverage litigation.
